Ascend Aero Ltd., is proud to announce its expansion into the Aircraft Maintenance sector through the establishment of a state-of-the-art Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) unit for aircraft components. This strategic initiative is being undertaken in collaboration with Turbo Jet Engines (HYD) Pvt Ltd. To support this venture, Turbo Jet Engines (HYD) Pvt Ltd has successfully acquired a 1.5-acre plot of land in the FTZ aero-park at GMR Aero Park, RGIA, Shamshabad. This location, situated at the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, provides a prime and convenient setting for our MRO operations.
This Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility will initially focus on servicing and maintaining Wheels and Brakes (including Overhaul), the oxygen system (including Servicing and Hydrostatic Testing of Aircraft Oxygen Cylinders), Life rafts and slide rafts (including Servicing, recertification, and overhaul), and Avionics equipment for Airbus, Boeing 737, ATR-72, and Cessna Citation aircrafts. Our goal is to gradually expand our capabilities to include various other components in response to industry demand in India and abroad.
The Shop facilities are currently being established with state-of-the-art fully automatic technologies from the USA and Germany, making them the first of their kind in India. Additionally, we are also setting up a dedicated paint booth specifically designed for Wheels and Brakes, once again marking a significant first in India.
Our team of highly experienced and qualified engineers, who have already obtained approvals for Airbus A-320 family, ATR-72, and ATR-42 aircraft, will be responsible for carrying out all necessary tasks. Furthermore, our customers will benefit from the advantages provided in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ), enabling them to save on transportation costs and reduce delivery times.
